Bay Area, California Home Prices Reach Prerecession Levels

April median home prices in the Bay Area and California have returned to levels not seen since late 2007, though they still fall short of their historical peaks. The median single-family home price in the Bay Area was $768,110 in April, up 12 percent on an annual basis.
